Dover Fueling Solutions in Livonia, Michigan is seeking a Production Technician on first shift. You will assemble and test electrical products and sub-assemblies, record metrics, and help maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail and teamwork to sustain high quality and on-time delivery. Expected candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing, basic circuit knowledge, and familiarity with Oracle and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with AC/DC voltages and basic computer systems.

This is a first shift position, M-F with OT as needed to meet customer demands. The Production Technician assembles and tests products and sub-assemblies per accepted safety, quality and productivity standards and protocols that he/she helps initiate and maintain along with the assistance of other production personnel. All of this is done to ultimately maximize our customer’s satisfaction level. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Assemble and test electrical/electronic products and sub-assemblies per accepted safety, quality, and productivity standards and protocols.* Record and submit productivity and quality metrics to the Team leader or Production Leader.* Plays a pivotal role in maintaining inventory accuracy.* Complete all essential duties as well as the applicable paperwork and computer entries on a timely basis.* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and practices.* Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and increase efficiency. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*** High School diploma or equivalent.* 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.* Basic understanding of circuit boards, schematic reading and electrical meter skills.* Background working with AC/DC voltages.* Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory management software (i.e. Oracle, MS Office)* Ability to manage multiple projects at a time* Ability to provide detail analysis on problems encountered while testing* Experience with basic hand tools (saws, hammers, drills, etc.)* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure* Strong communication skills, delivering thoughts and ideas clearly both written and verballyWe consider several job-related, non-discriminatory factors when determining the pay rate for a position, including, but not limited to, the position’s responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, a candidate’s education/training, the position’s location, and the key skills needed for the position.
