Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions seeks a part-time Manufacturing Engineering Tech to support manufacturing instructions, routing, and implementation for assembled products in our Austin facility.

You will assist in prototype development, review processes, and help troubleshoot equipment while working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Safety teams. A strong communicator and team player with a GED and manufacturing experience will thrive here.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1+ years in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, routing, and implementation of manufacturing instructions to assemble products.
• Assist on assembly lines to maintain production output.
• Review processes for new builds including prototyping and repairing machinery.
• Troubleshoot fixtures/tooling to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Provide specialized training to production employees and support trainer development.
• Assist in prototype development by debugging, modifications, assembly, and testing.
• Report metrics and KPIs to measure performance.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and apply Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Production, and Safety teams.
