Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Kiefel Production Technician I in the United States. You will operate a Kiefel machine, monitor production, load supplies, perform quality checks, and document manufacturing data while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and adherence to cGMP and 6S practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A High School Diploma and 1–2 years of production experience are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years Production Technician or manufacturing experience.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Proficient in using a calculator and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine using controls on an electrical control panel or by manual adjustments.
• Load and replenish production supplies as needed.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition product; stop production if deviations occur.
• Inspect finished product to meet quality standards.
• Load and secure finished product in mobile closets.
• Execute machine changeovers when assigned (material changes).
• Document information on manufacturing logs and POMS system.
• Identify or correct inefficiencies in machine performance.
• Test, inspect and package Inter-Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO).
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or mechanical issues and take action.
• Learn and apply cGMP and SOPs; sustain a clean 6S work area.
