Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is hiring a Production Technician I for the Kiefel line in Marion, NC. You will operate and monitor a Kiefel machine, load supplies, perform quality checks, and ensure products meet strict quality standards.

The role requires basic English, 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, and strong adherence to safety and SOPs. The position offers full-time hours with shift flexibility and comprehensive benefits starting day one, including health coverage, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years production/technician experience with basic manufacturing duties.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills sufficient for team communication.
• Able to understand safety and quality instructions and written work orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine via control panel or manual input.
• Load and replenish production supplies to match production needs.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition products; stop machine if needed.
• Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Document information on manufacturing logs or POMS system.
• Execute machine changeovers for material changes as assigned.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or mechanical issues.
• Maintain clean workspace following 6S principles.
