Qualifications

• External candidates: High School Diploma or GED; prefer Associate degree or technical certificate.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience; substitute experiences acceptable (warehousing, textile, agriculture, or material inspection).
• Internal candidates: High School Diploma or GED; 60 internal manufacturing credits; endorsement from supervisor; positive safety/performance/dependency/collaboration ratings.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Safely operates and maintains tools and equipment to meet quality and productivity levels.
• Completes required training within timeframe and provides on-the-job training when requested.
• Performs maintenance on equipment with hand tools and instrumentation.
• Interfaces with equipment computers to monitor parameters and alarms.
• Monitors process data and makes decisions to maintain process control.
• Escalates conditions with good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Collects data and provides reporting when requested.
• Ensures inventory levels and proper waste disposal.
