Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a production operator to support pigment and resin processing in our Parsippany, NJ facility. You will follow batch tickets, operate ball mills and dryers, and maintain safety and quality throughout the shift.

Candidate must lift 55+ lbs, work 40 hours with overtime, and have basic math and computer skills. Forklift certification and the ability to read batch tickets are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and understand batch tickets.
• Basic math skill proficiency.
• Able to lift 55 pounds.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders.
• First Aid, AED, and CPR training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and load pigments and resins into mills per batch tickets.
• Adjust controls to regulate temperatures and mixing times.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety programs.
• Monitor instruments and verify process conditions.
• Package and label finished products per regulations.
• Load/unload trucks and prepare goods for shipping.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and keep logs.
