Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will follow batch tickets, weigh and combine ingredients, and provide samples to the Quality Control lab while preparing finished products for packaging.

The role requires experience in a production environment, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. This position is on site at our Illinois facility and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with quality control and safety procedures.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting 55 lbs. and standing for long periods.
• 1+ yrs. of experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mixing, measuring, and weighing.

Responsibilities

• Review the batch tickets – Read, understand, and follow
• Gather and weigh ingredients (Scale operation)
• Combine ingredients in a designated sequence
• Provide samples to the Quality Control lab
• Pack the product into designated containers and label containers
