Job summary

Aerotek in Columbia, MO is seeking a Production Associate to build, assemble, inspect, and repair products while performing maintenance on production and support machines. You will review documentation, ensure quality, and communicate with maintenance and engineering to drive improvements.

You will set up, program, and run complex equipment, orient and supervise teammates, and contribute to safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals in a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, inspect, and repair products.
• Perform simple and complex maintenance on production and support machines.
• Review and complete documentation of production processes, yield, rework, and scrap.
• Verify all completed work conforms to production quality standards.
• Communicate requests and requirements to maintenance, engineering, and other departments.
• Suggest improvements to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Set up, program, and run complex equipment and machine tools.
• Run and maintain test equipment per procedure.
• Implement process improvements per change procedures.
• Orient, train, and supervise other team members.
