Job summary

Merck & Co. is hiring an Operations Technician to support antigen production operations at the De Soto, Kansas site. You will assist with process work, sampling, and documentation while maintaining a strong safety and quality focus.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, preferably a BSc in a scientific field, and experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Knowledge of GMP, ERP/SAP, and good documentation practices is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BSc preferred with pharma manufacturing experience.
• GMP knowledge and documentation practices required.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support antigen production operations from raw materials to final product.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Provide task-based training and coaching within the team.
• Follow all SOPs and manufacturing directions; ensure proper tools and PPE are used.
• Assist with process improvements and documentation to meet quality standards.
