Job summary

Linde in Neosho, MO, is seeking a Production Technician to operate a 24/7 production facility. You will start up and shut down equipment, monitor process parameters, and perform valve line-ups while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

You will also assist with maintenance preparation and training of new staff. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of production operations experience, or an Associate Degree with internship.
• Strong interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 facility.
• Start up and shut down equipment and monitor process parameters.
• Perform valve line-ups safely.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Safely issue and manage maintenance permits.
• Operate the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently while following procedures.
• Assist with procedure development and train new employees.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes as needed.
• Escalate issues to more experienced specialists when required.
• Maintain safety and operational excellence with initiative and reliability.
