Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years Production Operations experience or Associates Degree with previous internship in Plant Operations
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment on 12-hour rotating shifts
- Start up and shut down equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and adjust operating parameters for optimal performance
- Perform valve line-ups and prepare equipment for maintenance (LOTO)
- Issue and manage maintenance permits to ensure safety and compliance
- Train and mentor new employees on plant operations and safety procedures
- Escalate issues to specialists when needed
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and operational requirements
- Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
