Job summary

SERVPRO of Virginia Beach is seeking a full-time fire/water technician to join a 24-hour emergency service team. The role covers responding to emergencies, performing cleanups, demolition, mold work, and related tasks across residential and commercial sites.

Normal hours are 8-5, with on-call rotation 1–2 weeks monthly and potential for large-loss mobilization. Requirements include driving a company vehicle and being insured under the company policy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive company vehicle and be insured through our policy.
• Background check can be conducted as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, water, and other damage emergencies as part of a 24-hour service team.
• Perform cleanup, demo, mold remediation, carpet and duct cleaning, and biohazard work as needed.
• Work on-call 1–2 weeks per month and be available for large-loss events.

Servpro of Virginia Beach is looking to add to our fire/water technician team. We are a 24 hour emergency service company. We do everything from small house fires, to large loss commercial jobs. Our normal business hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday. You would be on call for 1-2 weeks out of the month to respond to emergency losses. But when we do have a large loss, everyone is on call to help out.

Must be able to drive company vehicle and be insured through our insurance policy as a driver.

Background check can be conducted as applicable by law.

We do water damages, fire and smoke clean up, demo, mold, carpet and duct cleanings, bio hazards and much more.

After 90 days you will receive paid holidays and health benefits if you opt to go into the health insurance.

One weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment, two weeks paid vacation each year after that.
