Job summary

Servpro of Virginia Beach is hiring for a fire/water technician on a full-time basis. The team operates 24 hours to handle emergency losses from small residential jobs to large commercial incidents. Normal business hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities 1–2 weeks per month and additional on-call coverage during large losses.

Applicants must be able to drive a company vehicle and be insured under our policy. A background check may be performed as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and other emergency losses as part of a 24/7 on-call team.
• Perform water damages, fire and smoke cleanup, demo, mold, carpet and duct cleaning, and handling bio hazards.

Servpro of Virginia Beach is looking to add to our fire/water technician team. We are a 24 hour emergency service company. We do everything from small house fires, to large loss commercial jobs. Our normal business hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday. You would be on call for 1-2 weeks out of the month to respond to emergency losses. But when we do have a large loss, everyone is on call to help out.

Must be able to drive company vehicle and be insured through our insurance policy as a driver.

Background check can be conducted as applicable by law.

We do water damages, fire and smoke clean up, demo, mold, carpet and duct cleanings, bio hazards and much more.

After 90 days you will receive paid holidays and health benefits if you opt to go into the health insurance.

One weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment, two weeks paid vacation each year after that.

Simple retirement plan that you can opt to go into after one year. We will match up to 3% of your pay.
