Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking a Water Damage Technician to respond to water damage emergencies, assess damage, and begin restoration of homes and businesses. You will work as part of a top-rated team, gain on-the-job training and advance through certification opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma, proven restoration experience, ability to lift and use tools, a valid driver's license, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a competitive hourly rate of

• Proven water damage restoration or related experience.
• Able to operate industry equipment and hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage emergencies promptly.
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification and sanitization.
• Remove damaged materials (carpet, drywall, flooring).
• Follow safety standards and company policies.
• Full-time schedule Mon-Fri 8:00-16:30 with on-call duties; extended hours may occur

Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: Rapidly respond to water damage from floods and leaks.
• Restoration: Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitization.
• Material Removal: Remove damaged materials (carpet, drywall, flooring).
• Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
• Schedule: Full-time (M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) with on-call duties. Expect extended hours, evenings, and weekends during high demand. Bonuses for on-call, premium pay for extended hours

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/equivalent
• Experience: Proven water damage restoration or similar industry experience
• Technical Skills: Proficient with industry equipment and hand/power tools
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Physical: Able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in confined spaces.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license, clean record, reliable transportation.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible and additional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
