NEW STARTING WAGES (effective 01/01/2026)

As an example, full time 2nd shift wages for a full-time team member achieving 40 hours/week: $20.65/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $42,952 to $65,287 per year

1st Shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 4 :30 AM to 3:00 PM

2nd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday2:45 PM to 1:15 AM

3rd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

WKD shift - 12 hours: Friday-Sunday6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Breaks/Lunch:

Shift times & lengths vary depending on department/shift.

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift receive 1-15 minute paid break & 1-30 minute unpaid lunch break. WKD shift receives 2-15 minute paid breaks and 1-30 paid lunch break.

Educational Requirements:

Experience:

None needed. On-the-job training is provided. However, previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience will be given preference over those without.

Role Overview: Hourly production team members are responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing of orders received by customers. These orders include, but are not limited to: architectural, residential, and commercial units, stalls, railings, windows, walls, doors, etc. Ideal candidates are those looking for long-term employment opportunities who are also interested in leadership, building teams, and improving processes.

Dress Code/Protective Gear: Work gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed or composite shoes. Certain departments within the facility do require the wear of supplied cut-resistant clothing

Essential Functions
  • Read, comprehend and execute production/scheduling plan by following the production schedule
  • Operate a computer
  • Manipulate knobs on machinery
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, and more utilizing team lifting
  • Push/pull tables and racks of glass
  • Verbally communicate with other production team members to coordinate tasks
  • Assist in the insurance safe working environment for self and fellow team members by addressing safety concerns, training, and by holding team members accountable to Cardinal LG’s safety standards
  • Is responsible for evaluating weekly punches for self via paper time edits and/or electronically via Attendance on Demand
  • Works closely with Department Manager, Shift Manager, Supervisor, and/or other Production Team Members to supply necessary production information
  • Follows all facility policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Partners with Team Members by soliciting feedback and suggestions to improve departmental function and morale
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and treats fellow team members at all levels with respect and dignity
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully using all mediums: electronic, written, face-to-face and telephonic
  • Participates in required trainings
  • Use email, phones, radios, and in-person communications
