Job summary

McCormick in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a Team Manager I – Production C Shift to lead a 30-person production team on the 3rd shift (approximately 9 PM to 7:30 AM EST). You will be responsible for quality, safety, productivity, sanitation, and continuous improvement, directing daily activities to meet customer needs and OGSM targets.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering and CI, developing a high‑performance culture, and driving PM/AM/TPM/CCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years related experience.
• Minimum of one year experience supervising employees in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment.
• Minimum of one year experience leading projects or initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work across functions and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the daily management and prioritization of team members to meet or exceed all performance standards, including reliability, cost, waste, safety, quality, and sanitation.
• Effectively lead, coach, train, and develop approximately 30 non‑exempt team members while fostering a team environment.
• Proactively recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement resources to execute PM, AM, TPM, and CCI processes.
• Integrate a high‑performance culture by effectively utilizing the six systems in daily activities.
• Interact cross‑functionally to resolve issues and ensure that customer service requirements are met.
• Work with teams to develop cultural and business action plans to ensure continuous improvement throughout the plant.
