Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (Team Leader) to provide leadership for a 3rd shift production team from 11pm to 7am. You will develop staff, apply Lean/TPM tools, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency in a world-class operation.

You will guide cross-functional collaboration, coach staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet plant objectives and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• High School degree required.

Responsibilities

• Educate, develop and motivate a manufacturing team to achieve production results and improve skills.
• Ensure facilities and finished products meet quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Foster positive relationships to encourage collaborative problem-solving across boundaries.
• Provide day-to-day business leadership aligned to plant objectives.
• Coach and guide the team to deliver year-over-year results using continuous improvement tools and strategies.
• Serve as a technical resource in system operations and product requirements.
• Facilitate effective information exchange between work groups and cross-functional teams.
