Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality and daily manufacturing output in a high-volume environment. You will lead production employees, coordinate workflow, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.

You will coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain, maintain staffing and records, and coach the team to achieve safety, quality and performance targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of assembly manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a JIT Tier 1 automotive environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety requirements and daily manufacturing production.
• Lead production employees, coordinate workflow, and meet production schedules.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate safety, quality and production goals.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and maintain records related to timecards and attendance.
• Perform employee performance evaluations and provide corrective coaching when needed.
