Job summary

Magna International Inc. in Moore, SC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality and daily manufacturing output in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You will lead production teams, coordinate workflow with maintenance, quality, engineering and supply chain, and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Lean practices.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of assembly manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a JIT Tier 1 automotive production environment.
• Includes knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and production reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality standards, and daily production targets.
• Lead production employees, coordinate workflow, and resolve issues.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing, timecards, schedules, attendance, and payroll accuracy.
• Lead monthly EHS inspections and 5S activities.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Attend employee meetings and provide coaching and feedback.
• Prepare incident investigations and corrective actions as needed.
