Job summary

OPW Propane Energy Solutions (PES) in Conover, NC seeks a Team Lead to supervise a diverse production team and ensure high-quality outputs. The role focuses on assembly processes, safety, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will lead safety talks, manage work-center schedules, and collaborate with maintenance to maximize uptime while promoting a culture of accuracy and efficiency within a Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience as a team lead or in a similar role.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety toolbox talks and Kaizen events.
• Perform in-process audits and maintain data boards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to optimize uptime.
• Assign tasks to operators and manage rework.
• Maintain inventory data for scrap and WIP.
• Develop team members with training coordinator.
