Job summary

OPW Propane Energy Solutions is seeking a Team Lead II to supervise a diverse production team at our Conover facility. The role focuses on efficient, high-quality assembly, safety leadership, and continuous improvement.

You will monitor progress, train staff, and implement production changes while upholding strict quality standards. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in team leadership, strong communication, and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience as a team lead or similar role.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety toolbox talks and participate in safety meetings.
• Perform in-process audits and ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintain data boards and update work orders and status.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to maximize machine uptime.
• Assign daily tasks to operators and manage rework and scrap.
• Maintain inventory data and ensure FIFO and WIP lanes.
• Lead kaizen events to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Develop team members with the training coordinator.
