Job summary

OPW Propane Energy Solutions, a Dover company, is seeking a Team Lead II to supervise a diverse production team at the Whitsett facility. You will oversee safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding operators through daily tasks and improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and clear communication to drive on-time delivery and continuous Kaizen-driven productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Emphasis on safety and quality in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety toolbox talks and participate in plant safety activities.
• Conduct in-process audits and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain and update data boards and work-order status.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to optimize machine uptime.
• Assign daily tasks to operators and oversee tasks.
• Manage rework, scrap, and inventory data.
• Lead kaizen events to eliminate waste and boost productivity.
• Develop team members with Training Coordinator.
