Job summary

Colfor Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly supervise hourly associates and manage the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities on the shop floor.

You will oversee material dispersal and ensure the daily production schedule is met, while coordinating with leaders of production support staff and providing direction and training. You will monitor work performance, coordinate maintenance of equipment, ensure process and quality control, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hourly production associates by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining them; communicates expectations and provides direction.
• Maintains production processes by observing volumes and recommending adjustments.
• Monitors progress, expedites material flow, resolves problems to complete production.
• Improves workflow by reducing stoppages, analyzing delays, and testing methods.
• Records production through daily shift reports, yields, and recoveries.
• Communicates status, requirements, and problems to the next shift.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy production environment per policies and legal regulations.
• Supports organizational success by handling new requests and assisting others.
• All other duties as assigned.
