Operate production machines and inspect final work for quality compliance

Job Summary

Perform operation on assigned machines used in the production of the company's product. Work under the technical leadership of a Lead or other more skilled employee. Receive periodic checks of work in process and complete inspection of final work for compliance with job standards.

Detailed Description

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work from detailed and complete process sheets or written/verbal instruction from supervisor to perform production tasks.
• May perform simple or routine setups, but complex setups, fixtures and tooling are performed by others.
• Operate computer console.
• Use simple measurement instruments to check work.

Requirements

High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education including vocational training. Typically requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience. Ability to use mathematics, drawings and measuring tools.
