The position emphasizes safety, hands-on training, troubleshooting, and contributing to cost-reduction efforts, with leadership oversight and continuous improvement in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Maintain Southwire’s Zero culture and ensure safe, quality work habits.
• Coordinate training for new hires and provide 30/60/90 feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; support day-to-day operations.
• Support cost-reduction efforts in manufacturing methods and dimensional control.
• Actively participate in cell-level huddles and assist leadership as needed.
• Verify hour-by-hour production rates and monitor performance.
• Assist in other activities as directed by Plant Leadership.
