Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Scandia, MN seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams on a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This hands-on role focuses on improving productivity, mentoring staff, and ensuring safe, efficient daily operations.

You will develop schedules, monitor performance, uphold quality standards, and drive cost-effective manufacturing while maintaining strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management and/or leadership experience required.
• Previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience overseeing daily operations and managing employee performance.
• Ability to motivate teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts.
• Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced manufacturing costs.
• Ensure all employees adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and feedback for improvement.
• Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Set productivity goals for manufacturing teams and monitor progress.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure production goals are met.
• Manage staff and promote a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and product quality standards are maintained.
