Job summary

Cold Spring Brewing Company is seeking Lead Production Associates to support the Bottle Shop and Production Supervisors, training new employees and ensuring plant processes meet productivity goals. The role operates on a 12-hour day shift with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, averaging 15 workdays per month.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, improving procedures, and managing hourly staff while maintaining safety, quality, and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret in English is required.
• Strong mechanical background and troubleshooting skills are needed.
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping are essential.
• Effective communication with all levels of staff, vendors, customers, and visitors is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team and assist supervisors in training new staff.
• Coordinate with departments to improve production processes and implement changes.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to optimize labor costs and line efficiency.
• Develop procedures for production processes and monitor improvements.
• Participate in safety, quality, and audit compliance across the facility.
• Support scheduling and production planning for optimal line use and staffing.
