Job summary

Nahan is seeking a Team Lead in the Operations department in Minnesota. The role supports the production supervisor, stepping in during absences, and ensuring the team meets targets. Night shifts are 7PM-7AM with a $2 shift differential and a base pay range of $23–$26 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have solid manufacturing knowledge, two years’ experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Base pay varies with skills and market factors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of machine capabilities and manufacturing processes/procedures.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the production floor for daily production.
• Order components and/or supplies to meet daily production requirements.
• Assist in maintaining schedule adherence and support growth initiatives.
• Follow supervisor’s guidance on break coverage.
• Operate low priority machine or support priority machines.
• Demonstrate leadership in working with troubleshooters and operators.
• Involved in job changeovers, setup reduction and TPM.
• Report issues/problems to supervisor/production manager.
• Fill in for supervisors in their absence as needed.
• Communicate with next shift about status of jobs and any special instructions.
• Monitor production consumables
• Conduct periodic audits of the processes
• Communicate and assist in other areas of production as directed
• Assist supervisor in updating visibility boards
• Perform TPM tasks to maintain equipment performance
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
