Job summary

Nahan is seeking a Maintenance I to perform daily equipment maintenance in our Minnesota facility. You will guide maintenance tasks, support production, and mentor others while ensuring safety standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, ability to read specifications, and willingness to work 12-hour night shifts. Local candidates preferred; overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of secondary education and/or combination of education and work experience in Mechanical design and fabrication. Knowledge should be advanced.
• 10+ years minimum work experience in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Power Limited License (PLT) preferred.
• Printing/Mailing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the manufacture, installation, and testing of equipment to ensure that products meet specifications and codes.
• Research and develop tools, processes, machines and equipment, and integrate into the facilities and systems for producing quality products.
• Perform modeling of a diverse range of complex internal systems and design/develop controls to affect a desired outcome.
• Use principles and methods of engineering analysis and design, to predict, and evaluate the results obtained from systems and processes.
• Perform detailed calculations to develop manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Investigate complaints from operators/customers, evaluate problems, and recommend solutions.
• Work with project managers on production efforts to ensure that projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
• Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair.
• Plan and develop applications and modifications used in parts and systems in order to improve technical performance.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks to maintain optimal equipment performance.
