Nahan, located in Minnesota, is hiring a Stitcher Operator I for the Finishing department. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Production Supervisor and includes nights on a 12-hour schedule with a $2.00 shift differential.

Base pay ranges from $21 to $24 per hour, with lengthy TPM-driven maintenance and strict adherence to safety and quality policies. On-the-job training, opportunities for overtime, and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate bindery equipment per job instructions.
• Ensure final product meets quality standards through cutting, folding, gluing, trimming, and assembling.
• Operate equipment within job parameters for maximum efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Read and interpret job tickets to follow procedures.
• Load paper stock and set machine parameters per specs.
• Track job progress and report delays or issues.
• Perform TPM tasks to maintain equipment performance.
• Follow safety and quality policies and procedures.
