Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY, is seeking a Production Support to assist the department with coordination, training, and daily reporting. The role acts as a resource for resolution of complex production issues and supports lean manufacturing efforts.

Essential duties include coordinating test lines, maintaining metrics, and ensuring proper training. The position requires strong communication and the ability to work with supervisors and engineers to maximize throughput.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with production experience.
• 2-year post-secondary/AA degree with production experience.
• Ability to train others and operate test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with all employees.
• Maintain data charts and factory metrics.
• Coordinate production test lines and mitigate risks.
• Assist in maintaining department policies, procedures, and training sign-offs.
• Ensure team members are trained for assigned duties, including cross-training.
• Work with supervisors and engineering to improve throughput.
• Participate in factory meetings and resolve production issues.
• Support Lean Manufacturing efforts including 5S, Gemba.
• Other duties as assigned.
