Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY is seeking a Production Control Technician B to support low volume, high precision manufacturing. You will track material flow, use ERP and planning tools, and maintain documentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 4+ years of related experience, or an associate degree with 0–2 years of related experience. Overtime/weekend shifts and the ability to obtain US government security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience: Or, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
• Ability to work overtime/weekend shifts as needed
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities

• Monitors the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production
• Use ERP systems and production planning software to process transactions
• Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation
• Assist with identifying problems with material orders and recommend solutions
• Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and resolve paperwork and parts issues
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices
• Work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to complete tasks
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
