Job Title: Production Support Manager

Location: Remote, St. Louis, Missouri

Reporting to the External Manufacturing and Supply Large Molecule Site Operations Lead, ensuring on-time and in-full delivery by being present at the CMO.

Main Responsibilities:
The Site Operations Leader will:
  1. Partner with external manufacturing site teams and functional leadership.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of products for CMOs/External Suppliers, with presence at the manufacturing site during key activities.
  3. Understand products from operational and financial perspectives, providing technical support and timely updates.
  4. Build collaborative relationships with external partners through frequent site presence.
  5. Serve as first escalation point for CMO activity issues.
  6. Participate in Joint Steering Committee meetings.
  7. Escalate issues as needed.
  8. Understand contract guidelines and their impact on product and departmental P&L.
  9. Implement lifecycle management projects.
  10. Manage risks impacting quality and compliance, involving multidisciplinary teams for remediation.
  11. Participate in quality governance forums and review deviations and change requests.
  12. Interface with regulatory authorities as required.
  13. Work with leads and heads to standardize processes for CMO management.
About You
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years.
  • Operational experience, strong quality mindset, knowledge of supply chain logistics, and experience with quality investigations.
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial business processes and cross-site networking is a plus.
