Job Function: The purpose of this position is to support the production line to ensure workflow continues and avoids any line down time.

Essential Functions:

1. Transporting parts to and from the production line.
2. Stacking & unstacking materials.
3. Loading and unloading trucks.
4. General housekeeping of the work area.
5. Performing other duties as directed.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Responding to radio calls.
2. Managing inventory levels of fixtures.
3. Working as a team player to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Following OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards.
5. Following directions provided by the supervisor.
6. Reporting any issues immediately to the supervisor.
7. Demonstrating a friendly, constructive attitude toward employees and customers (HONDA).

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Some High School education acceptable.
3. Ability to work safely and efficiently.
4. Forklift, Receiving, and Computer knowledge are a plus but not required.
5. Understanding of mechanical concepts and applications.
6. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
7. Professional oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to move up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
2. Ability to perform physical manual labor consistently.
3. Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
4. Work in confined spaces as needed.
5. Wear respirators in environments with chemicals, fumes, etc.
6. Travel to various states for days or weeks, with shifts possibly exceeding 8 hours.
7. Stand for prolonged periods.
8. Climb stairs.
