Pyramid Consulting, Inc. in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced Production Support/Application Support Specialist for a 24-month contract onsite.

The role focuses on prime brokerage applications, client reporting and dynamic pricing environments, with opportunities for long-term engagements. You will monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and work with development and enterprise teams to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in production support, with a focus on financial services (Prime Brokerage experience preferred).
• Experience in building strong relationships with development and business partners.
• ITIL Service Operations – Incident, Problem, Service Request Management, Alert Management/Monitoring.
• Agents of driving a culture of continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line support for prime brokerage applications focusing on client reporting and dynamic pricing environment.
• Monitor production environment to ensure availability and performance of systems, identifying and resolving issues in real-time.
• Troubleshoot technical and functional issues related to PB services, liaising with development teams and other enterprise teams for resolution of complex issues
• Perform root cause analysis and propose tactical and strategic solution for recurring production incidents
• Support deployments and releases, resiliency and disaster recovery exercises ensuring smooth integration
• Work with business stakeholders to understand service impact and prioritize resolution efforts
• Manage, document and communicate outages to senior business and technology stakeholders as well as follow ups to eliminate repeat occurrences.
• Drive Process Improvements and plant automation.Develop and deliver automation strategy.

Immediate need for a talented Production Support/Application support Specialist

This is a 24 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City NJ(Onsite).

Pay Range: $65 - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second line support for prime brokerage applications focusing on client reporting and dynamic pricing environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: “Application Support" OR “Production Support", "Monitoring", "Trading" OR “Front office".
• 3 years of experience in production support, with a focus on financial services (Prime Brokerage experience preferred)
• Evidence of building strong relationships with both development and business partners.
• Evidence of a strong risk culture.
• ITIL Service Operations – Incident, Problem, Service Request Management Alert Management/ Monitoring
• Evidence of driving a culture of continuous service improvement.
• Hands on technical and analytical ability to solve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills and able to effectively communicate to senior management and LOB partners.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace
• Ability to work in a high pressure, time-sensitive environment
• Scripting in Python 3 / Shell Scripting
• Job scheduling / Batch Management
• Good knowledge of the Prime Brokerage business
• Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools, with a focus on developing and running automation strategies to improve operational efficiency
