Qualifikationen

• Post-high school education.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years of experience leading or supervising employees.
• Ability to clearly communicate expectations, priorities, and timelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Successfully complete forklift driver certification.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage production operations across multiple departments and shifts.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, and develop employees for maximum productivity and engagement.
• Plan work activities, set expectations, and ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor and manage department costs, profitability, and inventory.
• Identify operational problems and improvement opportunities; research and implement solutions.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support development planning.
• Ensure compliance with all UFP policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, including 5S and TPM.
• Champion safety as Priority One, including participation in safety committees, JDAs, JSAs, audits, and LOTO compliance.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate production and operational records.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other leaders across the organization.
• Work closely with maintenance to support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance.
• Operate a forklift when needed to support production flow.
• If assigned to the Treating Department, follow all hazardous material handling procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
