Job summary

Precision Castparts in Michigan is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production team, align daily schedules with quality and safety goals, and drive productivity while controlling costs. You will relate to hourly and salaried personnel to foster cooperative, performance-driven relationships.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety/6S, coaching staff, reviewing time and attendance, and ensuring proper labor and material planning for each shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Four-year degree in related field or equivalent management/technical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; Oracle experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and maintenance personnel to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Coach and train employees in work instructions and procedures.
• Review time and attendance, and approve vacation requests.
• Ensure adherence to policies and communicate daily goals to all personnel.
• Identify training for safety, quality, and operation; support documentation.
• Investigate safety/quality/productivity issues and implement corrective actions.
