Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing/ CTO support specialist to improve and sustain the Configure to Order workflow. This role will drive ECO/DEV changes, maintain SOPs, and collaborate with IT to enhance the SFC system.

You will also train Production and QA teams on configuration procedures and maintain BOMs for accurate product configuration. Candidates should have a engineering background with strong communication skills and experience in a manufacturing environment, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years in manufacturing tech.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing setting; CTO or system integration a plus.
• Strong communication and customer interaction abilities.

Responsibilities

• Improve and support Configure to Order (CTO) processes for multiple products.
• Implement ECOs/DEVs and maintain SOPs, rework instructions and documentation.
• Support NPI processes and provide DFX analysis.
• Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain the SFC system.
• Define process requirements and provide product configuration training.
• Create/maintain BOMs for configuration management.
• Assist with customer requests and production line tours/audits.

Office located in Houston, not remote, hybrid; expected in office during workday night shift only.

• Implement ECOs/DEVs and prepare/maintain appropriate documentation (SOPs, rework instructions, etc.).
• Support NPI process and provide DFX analysis.
• Work with IT in helping to develop and maintain the SFC system.
• Provide/define process requirements to related team members.
• Provide product configuration training to Production and QA departments.
• Create/maintain BOMs for configuration management.
• Support customer requests and assist with tours/audits of the production line.

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Associates degree required and/or 5+ years of Manufacturing Technician experience.
• Min. 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment – CTO and/or system integration experience is a plus
• College Graduates will be considered.
• Strong communication skills are a requirement, since customer interaction will be needed.
