Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Production Supervisor (Night/Day) in Windsor, CO to lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong safety, quality, and Lean focus. You will translate business goals into actionable staffing, training, and scheduling while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet takt times and customer commitments.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, coaching hourly employees, and driving continuous improvement through structured problem-solving and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S principles.
• Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Coordinate across shifts and support functions to maintain operational continuity.
• Develop hourly teams and drive operator accountability and tooling readiness.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Implement Lean and 5S initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Maintain data integrity and timely production reporting in manufacturing systems.
