Job summary

Vestas in Windsor, CO is seeking a Technical Support Technician to provide technical support and improve production processes for wind turbine blade manufacturing. You will own technical support processes in your area, ensure safety, and collaborate with production staff to meet the production plan.

The role emphasizes documenting SOPs and PWIs, leading process improvement projects, and supporting equipment performance while maintaining quality and efficiency in a fast-paced factory environment.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 2-year technical schooling.
4 years manufacturing/production experience.
Experience with process flow and factory operations.
Ability to create, update, and maintain production docs.

Responsibilities

Own technical support processes within the assigned area.
Ensure production processes are conducted safely.
Assist with troubleshooting to reduce downtime.
Lead process improvement and technology transfer projects.
Update and audit production bills of materials and work instructions.
