Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee loading and unloading freight, material accounting, and server rack assembly at our Ohio facility. You will supervise production associates, coordinate cycle counts, and ensure safety and policy compliance across operations.

The role requires 3–6 years in material handling, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 3–6 years’ experience in material handling operations generally preferred.
• Solid interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to pass required government, airport, or company background checks and clearances.
• Ability to pass required drug and alcohol tests.
• Capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production associates performing loading and unloading freight.
• Oversee material accounting using multiple systems.
• Oversee assembly and installation of server racks and components.
• Organize and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns.
• Ensure adequate safety measures protect personnel and property.
• Advise subordinates on questions or problems related to work activities.
• Monitor work and examine production areas for accuracy, neatness, and policy compliance.
• Recommend and implement documented procedural changes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Perform or assist subordinates with their duties.
• Utilize internal and external systems and dashboards to ensure process compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain service level agreements and ensure subordinates follow safety protocols and standards.
• Interact frequently with customers, peers, site stakeholders, and subordinates.
