Job summary

American Lithium Energy Corporation in San Diego seeks a Production & Operations leader to manage day-to-day manufacturing across Megaline areas, driving safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will lead Area Supervisors and technicians, optimize throughput and OEE, and partner with Quality, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to scale up production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field and at least five years in lithium-ion battery manufacturing with proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility.
• Hands-on knowledge of lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred.
• Experience leading teams, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and high-volume operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations for Megaline production areas, including electrode fabrication, cell assembly, formation, aging, testing, and final cell processing.
• Execute production plans to meet safety, quality, yield, OEE, cost, throughput, and on-time delivery targets.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams across shifts and manufacturing areas.
• Establish staffing plans, shift coverage, training requirements, and cross-functional workforce flexibility.
• Promote safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the production floor.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Finance on issues and improvements.
