Job summary

Saft is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily lithium-ion battery cell assembly operations for high-performance applications. You will supervise ~20 associates across three shifts, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires a four-year degree (Engineering preferred), 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, and strong communication. A dry room environment and weekend overtime are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s nice to have.
• 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing environments.
• US Citizen or 10-year green card holder.
• Experience with AS9100 quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production for ~20 associates across three shifts, including weekend overtime.
• Forecast schedules and manage resource constraints to meet the plan.
• Maintain hands-on presence on the floor (about 75% of time) and act as escalation point.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.
