Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC, Spring Hill, TN, onsite, is seeking a Production Engineer, Formation, to join a highly automated plant. This role is part of the technical team responsible for continuous improvement, equipment and facility troubleshooting, production result analysis, and process enhancement in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

The position involves cross‑functional collaboration to optimize throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering as listed.
• 0–3+ years in continuous improvement or automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in highly automated manufacturing environment and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Monitor safety alerts and incident reports.
• Develop plans to optimize production conditions and utility rates.
• Reduce waste through continuous improvement activities.
• Provide timely feedback on performance.
• Maintain an environment encouraging initiative and teamwork.
• Monitor quality controls and monthly quality reviews.
• Identify and eliminate controllable failures with permanent corrective actions.
• Develop plans to attain monthly and annual yield goals and productivity goals.
• Coordinate with maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Analyze costs and maximize production efficiency.
• Approve expenditures for supplies and services.
• Work with accounting on budgeting and financial planning.
