Job summary

CertainTeed Ceilings in L'Anse, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate shifts and drive world-class safety, quality, service, and efficiency. This leadership role requires enforcing plant rules, guiding teams, and coordinating with Planning, Maintenance, Quality and Continuous Improvement to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing supervision with Lean/WCM

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: 1 year in supervising manufacturing activities and Lean/WCM familiarity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for corporate and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production shifts to improve safety, quality, service and efficiency.
• Enforce housekeeping, plant rules, safety, and labor contract provisions.
• Manage time and attendance, production reporting, and work orders on shift.
• Collaborate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Assist with autonomous and preventive maintenance coordination.
• Participate in continuous improvement events (RIE, VSM, 5S).
