Job summary

Element Solutions MAES Team is seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach teams, manage performance, and partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse to optimize production. The role requires strong leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading manufacturing, production, or operations teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, quality systems, and process controls.
• Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions in fast-paced settings.
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to align staffing and resources with production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, EHS standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive communication through tier meetings, shift start-up meetings, and performance reviews.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance management.
• Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns in alignment with company policies.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (safety, quality, delivery, efficiency).
• Promote and sustain 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization efforts.
• Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance coordination, and timely escalation of issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment.
• Document production activities, complete shift reports, and ensure accurate system transactions.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support business operations as required.
