Job summary

Element Solutions Inc. in Itasca, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) for the MAES unit to lead daily manufacturing operations with a strong safety and quality focus.

You will coach teams, manage performance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Planning and Warehouse functions to meet customer and business expectations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience supervising in multi-shift environments.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification.
• Experience with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Plex).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to align staffing and resources with production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, EHS standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive communication and accountability through tier meetings and shift start-up meetings.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through training and performance management.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
