Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field is required or preferred.
• 3–8 years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate a cross-functional team.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs all production staff, assigns tasks, and communicates job expectations.
• Generates production plans and resource schedules; reports plans to Production/Operations Manager.
• Ensures adherence to production, productivity, and quality standards.
• Supports lean/AST initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Manages assembly resources for time-sensitive projects and communicates conflicts to management.
• Maintains quality control procedures and ensures products meet standards.
• Promotes a safe, 5S-compliant workplace and possible equipment maintenance oversight.
