Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve quality, productivity, and on-time delivery in our production area.

You will apply lean methods and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and support new product introductions on the shop floor. You will perform root-cause analysis, lead improvements, and participate in safety-oriented initiatives to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• BA degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience with Lean manufacturing in a production environment
• 0–8 years of work experience, internships/co-ops acceptable

Responsibilities

• Establishes root cause and corrective action plans for customer quality concerns and communicates with customers to ensure timely resolution
• Leads production teams to resolve process and product issues affecting productivity and on-time delivery using data-driven methods
• Identifies and eliminates bottlenecks and barriers to one-piece flow and productivity on the floor
• Collaborates with internal and external suppliers to ensure materials meet design and quality requirements
• Leads cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes for new products
• Develops, updates, and maintains production documentation and standard work
• Supports design with input on manufacturing process capability during development
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives within Operations Excellence
• Identifies and mitigates potential safety hazards on the production floor
