Tramec Sloan in Galion, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor who will lead daily production and assembly, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role involves coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials, while driving improvements and maintaining accurate records on the production floor.

You will supervise staff, organize work assignments, and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues, optimize workflow, and uphold customer specifications.

Competenze

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising production or assembly lines preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings, and to coach staff.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily production and assembly activities in a light-assembly operation.
• Organize staffing and assign workstations to meet schedules and workloads.
• Ensure schedules meet customer requirements and maintain on-time delivery.
• Monitor output, downtime, scrap, and efficiency; drive improvement.
• Enforce safety, quality standards and proper use of PPE and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments on priorities, material shortages and changes.
• Maintain production records and report results to management.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts such as Lean, 5S and standard work.
